Vasy Transport is one of the worst companies to deal with. If you do long distance move for fixed price they will rush and loose or damage your furniture. On short distance moves they will work super slow, use 2 men to carry a small item and also damage your furniture. They always have one guy who does not know anything about moving!

BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES!

Mike the owner is a liar and a vulgar person. When you ask for compensation for damages he will start shouting like a little kid who you took candy from. Will not send you your receipt as he is possibly cheating tax Complaints sent to authorities !

Honestly, it was not a good experience and I do not recommend their services.

At first, it was ok. She was answering my calls and e-mails and she offered a reasonable price. Everything started going down when I needed to change the date and she charged me more for that. I accepted without complaining. In the end, they charged me more again for my moving, because she said I had more items than what I had initially said. However, when they changed the pick up and the delivery time they did not give any discount for both changes that they had on their side. They were supposed to pick up my stuff at 11am and they arrived at my house at 07 am, while for the delivery they were supposed to arrive at 9 am but they arrived almost at 12 pm.

Also, when they arrived in my house to pick up my things I wanted to count every item with them and make a list, but they said it was not necessary. I should never had agreed with that, because they damaged my book shelf and my computer screen and two of my boxes got lost during the moving. I have tried to contact them many many times about that by phone and e-mail and they do not reply to any of my messages. They simply ignore me and this is very disrespectful.

I will never hire their services again and I suggest you do the same.

Just read the only review on here and have to completely agree. Just did a move from Toronto to Montreal. Not only did they destroy half my furniture they are a sleezy company which I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Not only did they show up late. They put an ad on Kijiji for movers in Toronto, so random drunk men showed up at my door and I had to call the cops. When their main mover arrived 3 hours late, he was so rude to me, aggressive, and packed his tiny truck to the brim… damaging 5 restoration hardware chairs, my restoration hardware dining table, my Mattress which was covered in plastic has water and dirt damage, and is also bent out of shape, and my velvet sofa is scuffed and they damaged walls in my house.

Of course i mentioned all this before they delivered everything in Montreal. I was told that they would sort insurance out for the damaged items, and would send their mover to pour soda water on my Mattress. I have not heard from them since and they have not returned any of my calls.

I would highly suggest NOT EVER USING THIS COMPANY.

If you care about how your furniture is handled, be wary about using VASY!!!

VASY said “Wrapping all furniture with moving blankets for better protection, including tape to secure, plastic cover for mattresses”. They only had 3 blankets and 6 1/2 feet of space left on the truck and could not get another truck in timeframe required. Had to frantically contact several local moving companies and we were very fortunate to find another mover.
Requested VASY to return $150.00 deposit as they did not do the move as stated in our contract. VASY has ignored my request.
In retrospect, I wish I had selected a professional moving company rather than VASY. The extra $ this cost were more than worth it.
My recommendation is to be very wary if you decide to use VASY as your mover.

In my mind, they are unprofessional, unethical, and not to be trusted.

Overall i have to give a negative review. Initial contact and planning was fine. Lots of back and fourth and coordinating but that is expected.

When it came to pick up and delivery the date and time frame changed so often it was ridiculous but we rolled with it. Upon pick up the guys were surprised to see how much stuff we had. again, another minor detail in the big picture and one that was rectified. the major issue i have with this experience is that our stuff was delivered and we were missing a bag with our bedding plus a couple other items. we emailed and called leaving a voicemail and have never heard back. bad business. feels shady.

We thought others considering doing business with vasy should know about our experience.

They also accused others of making a fake accounts, this is not a fake account lol… My photos on google reviews have literally 100,000 views from all around the world and the guy thinks I’m some one else instead of addressing the issues they caused. Not professional. Also, as someone who has the ability to close Google businesses, your full of BS as you don’t have the ability to get my IP Address. Keep you staff in line and don’t tell others that.

If I could give negative stars for this sleezy money grabbing, ripoff of a company I would. They must pay people to put up good reviews because I would not wish this company to move even my worst enemies stuff. It all started out well.

I emailed for a quote and set up the move. I was given a quote and was happy with the price. (Knowing what I know now I would have paid a lot more to have a legitimate company to move my stuff. )

They set up a day to come to my apartment to load my stuff. My husband scheduled that day off work in order to be their for the movers. They did not show up that day. They showed up 2 days later at 10 pm at night and they were mad when the landlord of the building refused to let them move that late.

They did come back the next day to get our stuff. They gave us a final price which was about 150 more than the original quoted price as we forgot to list a few items (Fair enough).

We paid them and asked for a receipt to have for tax purposes (moving for work) We heard nothing and got Radio silence. Our guaranteed delivery date came and went and we heard nothing from this company. 4 days past the date we get a call from a random person who owns a different company that he has our stuff and is to deliver it.

upon unload we noticed a few items had damage. We emailed immediately with pictures and they just wrote back and said nope insurance doesn’t cover that cant make a claim. It is not up to them who makes a claim. They should provide the insurance company and you can claim and the adjustor makes the call.

THEY DONT HAVE INSURANCE FOR YOUR STUFF. IF ANYTHING IS BROKEN THEY WONT HELP YOU. They charge for insurance but DO NOT CARRY IT.

Then we contact because stuff of ours is missing. They do not reply. We call no answer. We are missing stuff. FInally they say we are lying they gave us everything. and our stuff is not missing. I think it got left on whatever truck when it got moved to the random guys truck. but they cant admit they made a mistake. They did not hold up their end of the deal or contract and they have no consequences but they will turn around and blame everyone but themselves. They cannot admit they made a mistake.

MOVERS BEWARE.

It all went well until the move.

I appreciated their prompt and diligent communication while getting an estimate. But after they left, I noticed a big damage on a big TV so I contacted them about starting an insurance claim. No response. I followed up asking for a reply. Still nothing. This after signing a contract that clearly included damage during the move. They have just decided to ignore my messages and hope that I will go away. Not a great way to retain customers. I would have given them 5 stars but I think even 1 is too generous when a company decides to not even respond to a legitimate concern.

If there is less than one star I will give it to those people. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID USING THOSE PEOPLE. They take your money, and they don’t do a complete job. They are rude and super aggressive, specially Claudia. They don’t feel shame of making mistakes and they will call you names while you are the customer if you ever think about asking for what’s your right and what you paid for. Bottom line, you will never get your right from this company. They are just hungry for your money without doing the job. If you want to make sure how rude they are, check the way they reply to people that gave them 1 star and judge yourself.

Here is the story,

1- I contacted this people to move my stuff from Waterloo to Montreal. My stuff was in different places, one of them is my house where I have a tenant. Also I asked to store my stuff in their warehouse few days till my place is ready.

2- They will ask you about the items that you want to move, and you have to be very precise (how on earth one will remember every single item when he moves) if there is any small single piece comes as extra out of the list you send them, they will charge you a fortune for it!!!! Again money hungry company while they careless about the items and the customer. There was really small items I forgot to include in the list, they charged me extra money for this. I already paid them over $1700.

3- I told them explicitly to call me an hour before they arrive so I can be in my house to make sure everything is loaded (there is a tenant in my house), however they didn’t. When I arrived, I found out that they loaded the bedroom set. I didn’t question the integrity of work, as all the bedroom price was in one place in the basement and the tenant pointed them on what should be taken. I told Claudia explicitly that I came late with the first pickup and that was so much clear. But she doesn’t understand English it seems, or she decided not to understand.

4- two days later, I found out that the chest wasn’t not between the items. I called the company and Claudia answered the phone, without even listening to my story she said it’s not our responsibility!!!!!! Call the way she talked whatever you want, RUDE, IMPOLITE, UNPROFESSIONAL… Then immediately she said there is something fishy there, I was like what???!!!! fishy? What the hell are you talking about??!!!

5- She said she will check with the movers and get back to me, she didn’t until I sent an email. I told her, do you think your mover will commit that they made a mistake???!!! she said I trust my movers. I leave you guys with her email to me to see what level of service you will get from those people

I just found out, you have been present for 1st pickup. So you lied to me that you wasn’t there at all. Not from the beginning, but you arrived later. Our movers, told me that you was in the basement where the “missing dresser is located” and you didn’t tell them to get it, neither the tenant. Your tenant pointed out every furniture that has to go, and our movers did that accordingly. Why you didn’t tell them to get the dresser?? It’s not a small bag hidden in closet, to miss it… we are talking about a big piece of furniture. I have no doubts that it wasn’t our fault. You are the client, you was there and you should have checked that everything is loaded, upon your needs. At the end “something was fishy”, as I told you from the beginning. We never refuse to load a piece of furniture, and customers are responsible to show the movers what is going and what not.

Moving is hard, don’t let them make it even harder for you. You deserve a professional moving service.
